Matachica Beach Resort is a secluded beach resort located five miles north of the quaint village of San Pedro on the island of Ambergris Caye. Matachica is set on a white sandy beach, surrounded by lush tropical greenery, and facing the world's second largest barrier reef. Belize borders the Caribbean Sea along the eastern shore of Central America just below the Yucatan Peninsula. It is the only English speaking Central American country.
